Vanguard Homes builds first WaterSense® labeled home in the Nation

Chapel Hill, NC, October 16, 2008 – Vanguard Homes has built the first WaterSense® labeled new home in the nation in the Newland community of Briar Chapel. This “Sensibly Green Concept Home” is the first to receive the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) WaterSense label and has achieved gold level certification from the Green Home Builders of the Triangle and National Home Builder’s Association Green Building Standard.
