MiraBay takes top honors at building conference
Apollo Beach, Florida, January 16, 2007 - The community of
MiraBay® was recognized with two prestigious Excel Awards
during the recent Southeast Building Conference in Orlando,
Florida.
Sponsored by the Florida Home Builders Association's Sales &
Marketing Council, the Excel Awards program recognizes excellence
in sales and marketing, says Diana Hilton, marketing manager for
MiraBay.
The first honor - a gold Excel Award - was presented to MiraBay
for best direct-mail piece among master-planned communities with
homes priced more than $500,000. The 9-minute DVD highlighted the
community's amenities, homes and lifestyle.
The next Excel was a silver Million Dollar Sales Achiever award
given to new-home specialist Lori Rowell, who generated about $15
million in sales at MiraBay between March 2005 and April
2006.
Even before its first models opened, MiraBay was honored by the
Hillsborough County City-County Planning Commission for having the
Tampa Bay-area's best master-planned community design, and recently
earned that honor for the second time. It features a 3.5-mile canal
system and direct deep-water access to Tampa Bay.
When completed in about six years, this 750-acre community is
expected to provide more than 1,900 residences priced from the
high-$300s to more than $5 million including homesite.
